The Pew Commission on Children in Foster Care invites you to attend its public launch, at which its mission and the names of the prominent Americans who have agreed to serve as its members will be announced.

The launch event will also feature the results of a new nationwide public opinion survey. It suggests that, while Americans understand that foster care is critical to protecting abused and neglected children, a majority agree that the foster care system needs significant improvement, and are doubtful of the system’s ability to meet children’s needs.

Participants will include:

Director, Health and Human Services Program, The Pew Charitable Trusts

The Honorable Bill Frenzel
Chairman, the Pew Commission on Children in Foster Care
Guest Scholar, Governance Studies, The Brookings Institution
